I had so much fun listening to this podcast after watching the UTD e5. We really share same sentiment towards the HS teacher, is she a Physics teacher or Chemistry? She acts like she know everything and its getting more and more annoying from one episode to the next. PS: I smell new love triangles…
Let’s just say she blinded me with science this week, Weird Science that is Lucifer! 😉
My gut is telling me that the dome is going to kill that Science teacher HAHA. Anyway, Im so excited for the full discussion even though I have no theory to share…the plot is just too big to theorize.. hmmp.
A few points missed in the podcast – 1821 is the number on the picture Pauline drew in her journal – also the number of the locker that Melanie opened. Man, what IS that locker and how does it fit into all of this? Crazy stuff!
Big Jim said that he was going to send Pauline to an institution but gave in to her pleas and ultimately did not send her there. She later ‘killed herself’ in the car crash and he regretted not making the “tough choice” to send her.
Awesome thanks for the call out on the 1821 I assumed it was the locker number but didn’t want to say so last night until we had time to do the proper re-watch! Will definitely mention your comment this week in the full episode for catching that on the first run through! Thanks AnSith!
Woohoo! 😀 Can’t wait til the full discussion podcast!
Approve!
First off, the one you call the Hatchling, Melanie….I call Bland. The only emotion she brings out in me is annoyance. I see no useful purpose in her being there and her acting is…..Bland. Throw her back in the
lake.
This whole show, to me, was pointless. Rebecca deciding to make the decision to “thin the herd” and then developing a conscience at the end just didn’t make sense and felt anticlimatic.
This show is losing me.
There are so many pointless scenes in this series but i still believe it would make sense.
I really enjoy your podcast. You are more interesting to listen to then (for me) watching the show.
I noticed something that was not mentioned. When James (do not call me Jr.) discovered Angie’s body,
it was covered in butterflies. Now, I know butterflies are everywhere, but I thought that was weird.
My theory is—they were mourning her death.
Also, you mentioned about Pauline being the one who pushed Melanie. I agree, because the noise was driving
her crazy and she would’ve done anything to quiet it.
It would then make sense that Sam and Lyle would protect her because they love her.
By the way, the sum of 2 and 7, to me should be 27. 2 plus 7 is 9. I know, I am being
pedantic. (I am referring to the required field to answer to post this)
Thanks so much for all of your comments and replies. Great theories and thoughts. We may get a few more answers this week (I hope). Thanks again for listening, and for your kind words about Under The Dome Radio.
